Truly He taught us to love one another,

His law is love and His gospel is peace.

Chains he shall break, for the slave is our brother.

And in his name all oppression shall cease.

Social Justice or Practical Mercy, Its at the very heart of God. It was embedded throughout Jesus’ own story:

  • Jesus was Homeless as He didn’t start His life in a home. And toward the end of His life He said, Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.
  • As a Refugee He had to flee with His family to Egypt.
  • There was Social Injustice shown to all the toddler boys that died.
  • He was an Immigrant (a person who comes to live permanently in a foreign country) [i.e. Coming from His home country of Heaven, to Earth]
  • Thus making Him an alien, an outsider, & living in exile for a time.

Remember this Christmas season “His law is still love & His awesome good news is still Peace!”

Kelly’s pretty amazing with her ability to pull off such a large, themed, spiritual, sensitive, holistic (touching the whole person) Woman’s Conference. From it’s original conception to bringing it to fruition. And having the gift of bringing in so many people into the circle to make it all happen, as a team. She’s good!

My wife Kelly, along with 15 other ladies went to minister to 250 Haitian ladies at a women’s conference. They gave them a manicure & hand & arm massage. They loved it…both those giving & receiving. I just returned from Haiti. I accompanied my wife, daughter, daughter-in-law & 16 others to do a woman’s conf. You haven’t lived until you hear 250 Haitian women worshipping for over an hour, hands raised, singing from their toes up, jumping up & down, tears, wild, beautiful. I’d go sit in the back, shut my eyes & just listen to God getting blessed!

Ladies will start coming tomorrow. Today we went to a Catholic orphanage. They actually take kids in who are malnourished or sick and care for them till there well. S we all got to hold babies for a few hours. Balloons, smiles, wet diapers, more smiles. It was great. Went over to the hospital in town. Handed out toys, glow in the dark bracelets, and prayed for many folks. Great time.
